I think this is my favourite Billie Holiday clip. (And that Prez solo; is there anything that hasn’t already been said about it?)

One of the reasons why it’s so good is probably non-musical. The whole narrative behind the reunion, subsequent deaths, etc.

Of course it’s all probably skewed, but as a story, it works really well.
